About TOEFL Coaching
The TOEFL exam is a standardized test used to measure the English language proficiency of non-native speakers. It is primarily used by universities, colleges, and institutions in English-speaking countries, such as the USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, for admissions and visa purposes.
TOEFL evaluates four language skills:
- Reading
- Listening
- Speaking
- Writing
The most common format is the TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based Test), although the TOEFL Paper-Based Test (PBT) is still used in some locations.
Validity
TOEFL scores are valid for 2 years from the test date.
Fees
The TOEFL exam fees vary by country. In India, the fee for the TOEFL iBT exam is typically around ₹13,000 – ₹16,000, depending on the test center and location.

Requirements for Registration
- A valid passport or government-issued ID

Centres
TOEFL iBT is conducted in over 165 countries at test centers around the world. In India, major cities include:
- New Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, and others.

Rescheduling
You can reschedule your TOEFL exam up to 4 days before the test date. Rescheduling requests can be made online or by phone. There is a fee for rescheduling, and the amount may vary.
Test Reports
TOEFL scores are available 6 days after the test date.
You will receive an official score report that includes scores for each section (Reading, Listening, Speaking, Writing) on a scale of 0 to 30 for each section, and a total score of 0 to 120.
You can send your scores to up to 4 institutions for free, but additional score reports may incur a fee.
Academic Training
The TOEFL Academic version is designed for students applying to universities or colleges in English-speaking countries. It tests your ability to use English in academic environments and measures your reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills in academic contexts.
General Training
TOEFL does not have a General Training module like IELTS. However, the TOEFL iBT exam is widely accepted for work and immigration purposes by some countries and institutions.
